Counselling provides a private, supportive environment for you to work through any of life’s difficulties. Registered counsellors are professionals who are expertly trained in a range of theories and techniques to aid you in this process. You may see a counsellor for a very brief problem, immediate crisis, or for longer term difficulties. Seeing a counsellor can help with stress, relationship difficulties, loss and grief, chronic illness, mental health challenges, overcoming addictions, trauma, and parenting support – to name just a few of its many applications! Huon Counselling can assist you with any of these issues, using a range of approaches founded in sound research, adjusted specifically to your needs throughout the course of counselling. You can be assured that your values and beliefs will be respected, and that you will be supported as a unique person who is capable of determining your own path toward positive change.
